Our Story
From local refrigeration supplier to turnkey supermarket partner.
Resnick Supermarket Equipment was founded by William Resnick with a simple goal: help local businesses in the New York metropolitan area save money when purchasing refrigeration equipment for their stores.
As demand grew, the company expanded under the leadership of President Butch Resnick, William’s son, along with his partner Rick Swift. During the 1990s, Resnick evolved from a regional refrigeration supplier into a full-service supermarket equipment company capable of supporting complete store construction and remodeling projects.
Today, Resnick operates more than 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, employs more than 70 people, and supports independent grocers, supermarket chains, contractors, and food retailers throughout the country.
